Not wanting to become complacent during the coronavirus quarantine of 2020, I connected with Child & Family Services of Northwestern Michigan to review and revise their organization’s website copy. After successfully updating copy on their primary landing pages, my volunteer responsibilities grew into updating the website design and layout to optimize the user experience and improve all calls-to-action in anticipation of their highly critical #GivingTuesdayNow fundraiser. Efforts raised more than $15,000 on May 5, 2020.
